We were definitely feeling the heat as the sun finally peeked above the trees as the boys varsity race was ending and the girls varsity race was getting started! The humidity and sun made it hot just for those who were watching the race, and the runners definitely appreciated the cool towels at the finish line. Big thanks to all who came out to support the runners on a hot day! And a HUGE congrats to all the first time runners who battled it out in hot and humid conditions. Cross Country in the heat of a Georgia August is not for the faint of heart! We are so proud of those who took on the challenge! Next week, the team travels to Forsyth to take part in the Mary Persons Bulldog Distance Challenge
